Definitely just a human scientist that was captured by evil madmen that performed illegal genetic experiments until such time as I escaped. Not an alien in disguise using all the mutants running around to hide among. Yep, just your average scientist, captured, tortured, and mutated by madmen and then broke free all on my own, with no other help, and now work with the good guys to maintain order.
Not working with the good guys to gather intel for a future alien invasion, that would be wrong. Just trying to do the right thing and the right time. Yep, just trying to be a good guy. One of the heroes. Everyone says so, I'm a hero.
