Doctor Barnabas Ivo Kowalski was a genius in the feilds of robotics and cybernetics. In college he acquired the nickname of "Madrivet". After he graduated, he became head of the "SK Project" at Crey Research, building numerous androids for support roles in the Renevant Hero Project. After numerous failures which resulted in more than one of these androids going rogue and escaping, he was "invited to retire" from Crey research, an invitation that he did not take very well. Fearing that doctor Kowalski would attempt to sell Crey's secrets to either Longbow or Arachnos, an attempt was made to terminate him before he would ever have the chance. A special agent was sent to kill him while he was in his own private lab. Little did either Crey or its agent know just how resourceful and prepared the good doctor really was, for he didn't stay dead for very long.
